The Group
We provide elegant entertainment for your event or party. Upright Bass, Guitar, and Saxophone, playing Classic tunes made famous by Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Charlie Parker, Harry Connick, Jr, and Diana Krall.
Of course, we perform in formal attire, at volumes reasonable enough not to interfere with normal conversations. Additional musicians can be added as needed.

The Musicians
Rob (Eastman) Perl, our Bassist and Leader,
is a native New Yorker who grew up in the New York Music Scene, working with
The Inkspots, Del Shannon, and several of the well known Doo Wop Era Groups. He
holds a Bachelor's Degree from CW Post and a Master's from Hofstra University.
Rob has taught Jazz at Long Island University and The Collective in NYC. He
worked for many years for the larger Music Agencies, becoming a Leader for Hank
Lane Music - one of the largest agencies in NY, prior to moving to the DC area.
Rob is currently located in DC, working with Eastman Jazz Groups, teaching
privately, and doing recordings at his studio, Acebass Productions.
Kash Wright, our pianist, is native to the DC area, but spent several years in Texas, where he earned his BA in Music. He's currently back in DC, where he works as Music Director of his church, in addition to being a busy Jazz pianist.
Rob and Kash have styles of playing which complement each other quite well. They work hard to make sure your affair is a success.
